Play responsibly
Gambling is entertainment that costs money. It is not a way to earn money or solve money problems. You must be of legal gambling age in your country to play.
Set limits before you start
- Deposit limit. Decide how much you can afford to lose in a day, week or month, and set it in your casino account.
- Time limit. Set a session reminder or a daily time limit.
- Loss limit. Stop when you reach it, even if you are close to finishing a bonus.
Most online casinos let you set these in your account settings, often under “Responsible gaming”. If you cannot find them, ask customer support.
Warning signs
- You spend more money or time than you planned.
- You play to win back losses.
- You borrow money or use money meant for bills.
- You hide your gambling from people close to you.
- Gambling makes you anxious, irritable or low.
If any of these sound familiar, take a break and talk to someone.
Take a break or self-exclude
You can pause your account for a set period, or close it completely. Many countries also run national self-exclusion schemes that cover all licensed operators. Check what is available where you live.
